I am just back from the 5 days training i attended at Royal Institute of Management, Semtokha Bhutan. The course was organized by the RCSC in collaboration with RIM and the University of Canberra. The course was delivered by Mr. Raymond C Young, the Asst. Professor of the Canberra.
The five days extensive course was a very good one. Infact, from that i have learned something that i can reflect on. Let me list it down here so that when i implement something later, i can refer;
1. Strategy formulation (Heuristic AcdB model)
A: The present scenario
B: Target
C: Strategies
D: Activities/Projects/Systems that will contribute to the goal
2. 6Qs to make project a success
i. Whats the benefit?
ii. How much change is required?
iii. Who is the project sponsor?
iv. What are the measures and motivation?
v. How do u make culture right for issues to be raised?
vi. How will you monitor it? (Looking for benefits or terminate)
3. A simplified Budget generation process
In a nutshell, its all about involving the IT in any business and vice versa as the world has evolved overtime and things become more so complicated if you are not up to date.; and the way forward for developing the project and the budgeting Will be right back with more...
