Do I work or 'm I just wasted?

The very first day you are at work, you feel so fresh with lots of ideas and enthusiasm. You really wanted to put at work what you actually know and learn what you lack. But you only know how you will be able to put into practice what you know as the time passes. Only the time can tell you how you have to work and what you need to do. 
The day i joined my office, i had lots of ideas that i really wanted to put into practice. I wanted to outshine others not just for my own benefit, but for the good of the office, with my new ideas; and i had lots of energy stored during my school time to learn lots at my work place. But does it materialize? NOT AT ALL:the least i have expected.
I could have gone to the districts, may be for the experience at the grass roots. But i failed, heeding to the advices from the seniors that you learn more in the head quarter than in the districts. I now feel that i could have gone to the districts looking for more experience than the opportunity that you wait at the head quarter. But I do not regret for working at the headquarter. It has its own charm. And I will have to accept that you will always find the other valley greener. With the big "BUT", I have something in my mind to make my work place a better one, a good place to learn and share what you know. May be someone should initiate the following things...

1. Reorganize the working system in the office(Division of Work).
2. Revisit the job description and clearly define what you exactly have to do.
3. Clearly spell out the expected outcomes.
4. Monitor and assess the expected outcomes by the boss quarterly or half annualy.

The QUALITIES of a leader?

The leaders are supposed to be the role model for the people working under him. He should be dynamic, understanding, able to work under pressure, approachable, and so on.. But what if your bosses is just the opposite of the qualities the leader should possess? How will you rate him if he has the following qualities?

1. He pour frustrations on you for no reason.
2. Unapproachable.
3. Moody.
4. Not supportive.
5. Selfish. 

What would you do if your boss is of that character? Will you be motivated to work under him? How are you to react? 

When you get the job for the first time, you feel that you will be able to contribute a lot but due to such circumstances, you get adapted to the system and everything gets lost in the process ...

The mystery unsolved..

The perception of the people differs and definitely no one can change that. You may see something in the picture and I may notice something different from what you actually see in it.

But all the people who have visited this place have seen just one. The head of Guru Rinpochhe with the Ausha. The great saint’s statue was believed to have protruded from the rock which people have never seen there before. I have tried to look different things in it but failed to see anything than what others have seen there.

There upholds one old bhutanese saying that, if you have great faith, even the tooth of a dog can give a birth to the priceless gem. That saying seems plunged in the minds of the Bhutanese people who worship what they ought to believe and it is proud to see these things happening in the Buddhist country. But the picture above depicts like the real picture of the great saint who is believed to have visited Bhutan, especially Bumthang. The great saint then has blessed many places there which Is why today it is believed to be one of the holy place in Bhutan.

The days and nights: making me a dad

Did I ever realize that I would be a dad one day? Am I prepared to be dad and to hold my child? I am not ready at all..Nah..I am not ready. Being not ready is not the excuse now. The title dad on me is almost nearing, just few days and nights away.

As you think of becoming a dad, many things looms around your thoughts. Will my wife able to bear the pain to deliver it? Will my kid be in fine form? Will I get the time to go with friends to a football field to play? Will I get a proper sleep? 

OR DO I HAVE TO HOLD ON MY CHILD REMEMBERING HOW I USED TO SLEEP SOUNDLY DURING THE OLDEN DAYS WITHOUT HAVING SOMEONE AT SIDE TO DISTURB MY SWEET DREAMING TIMES?

A happy moment: but where is it?

A moment to keep you free, a time to lift you up, a place to drain your miseries and happiness to shine by itself is a too distant reality.

A day may come where you have to scratch your head, where you may be knocked down and fall, but it would not stop by itself. Being a Bhutanese, we tend to believe that the pains and miseries we experience are the cause of previous life, but I feel it is certain that we can really wipe it out rather than keeping of its own to exercise on our mind and body.

“When I was in primary school, I felt I would be happy if I reach class ten. I thought I would be really happy if my mom and dad buy me a pair of converse. I had a feeling that I would be happy if I get a car of my own. But these all happened to me and still I feel I can be happier if things come on my way. But it feels to me now that our mind knows no bound”.

Now the question is; does the material that is comfortable buy you happiness? Of course it buys you the happiness but not the one which would last. But if we need to go along the way our minds wish, then where and at what height can we achieve the sense of true happiness? Can material being really buy the happiness? Can a big amount of money lure you the happiness in life? It may be to some extent.

In life, you toil and toil to earn money to buy happiness. As you earned, your health needs to reinforce and you need to spend the money there. So can we simply work to survive than bring in the wealth where your health deteriorates?

Thus, how far you travel and how hard you work, you may not achieve the happiness that you are looking for. You and I may not really reach to the land of happiness if we travel the whole world looking for it. The simple way to achive the happiness is knowing how to enjoy what you have at hand and STOP looking somewher...incomplete
